WHY STRUCTURE MATTERS

Pain relief is the start. Structure is the goal.

Your spine has healthy curves that help it carry load. Injuries, desk hours, phones and old habits can shift your head forward or flatten those curves, changing how stress moves through your neck and back.

CBP care aims to improve that structure, not just calm the symptoms, and to show you the change in measurements and images.

People often come to us for

Neck pain · Low back pain · Forward head posture · Headaches · Disc problems · Sciatica · Scoliosis · Pain after a car accident · Sports injuries · Desk and phone posture

All ages. As Dr. Gordon puts it, “If you have a spine, we can treat you.”

THE METHOD

Measure. Correct. Re-measure.

Care that goes beyond an adjustment. We set clear goals from real measurements of your posture and spine.

Corrective work is supervised by our hands-on team, and the same measurements are repeated so you can see your progress.

  • 01 · Measure where you are

PostureScreen, digital range of motion, and standard questionnaires (NDI, Oswestry) that show how symptoms affect daily life.

  • 02 · See the structure

Diagnostic digital imaging when clinically necessary, analyzed with PostureRay for precise alignment measurements.

  • 03 · Correct with supervision

Specific adjustments, corrective traction and mirror-image exercises, set up and supervised by our hands-on team.

  • 04 · See your progress

The same measurements at each re-evaluation, so progress shows in numbers and images, not just in how you feel.

Initial exam and re-evaluation, measured

  • Front posture analysis with PostureScreen, initial exam (left) and re-evaluation (right), same patient, face covered

    PostureScreen · front view

Initial exam (left) and re-evaluation (right), same patient and view.

  • Front full-spine X-ray analysis with PostureRay, initial exam (left) and re-evaluation (right), same patient

    PostureRay · front X-ray

Shared with the patient’s written permission, with her face and identifying details removed. Individual results vary.

Measured change for the same patient after 18 visits

  • Oswestry · low back: 46% → 24%

Low back disability; lower is better.

  • NDI · neck: 56% → 38%

    Neck disability; lower is better.

  • RAND-36 · bodily pain: 23 → 58

0 to 100 scale; higher is better. Scores come from standard questionnaires completed at the first visit and at re-evaluation. Individual results vary.

HOW CORRECTION HAPPENS

Three tools, supervised by our team

We’re a smaller practice on purpose. Our hands-on team sets up your traction, coaches your exercises and keeps an eye on your form every visit.

Supporting care: whole-body vibration, core and balance training, spinal decompression for disc-related pain, and custom orthotics when your feet affect your posture.

  • Adjusting table in the MidValley treatment room

    Mirror-image adjustments

Specific adjustments that move your posture toward healthy alignment, the mirror image of how it has shifted.

  • Patients doing supervised cervical traction in the MidValley traction frames, with patients on traction tables in the background under the Posture Determines Function wall. Faces covered for privacy.

    Corrective spinal traction

Precisely positioned traction to help restore the spine’s natural curves, set up and monitored by our team.

  • MidValley rehab area: four vibration platforms along a mirrored wall, used for supervised mirror-image exercises

    Mirror-image exercises

Targeted exercises and rehab that train your body to hold the correction, on our supervised rehab floor.
